At Master Guitar Shop, we understand that finding the perfect instrument or gear is a personal journey. While we strive to match every musician with their ideal equipment, we know that sometimes an exchange or return may be necessary. Our policy is designed with the same care we put into selecting our products.
Our Return Policy
We offer a 15-day return window from the date of delivery for most items. To be eligible for a return:
- Item must be in original, unused condition with all tags and packaging intact
- All original accessories, manuals, and certificates must be included
- Items must not show any signs of wear, damage, or modification
Note on Non-Returnable Items: For hygiene and quality control reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless defective: Capos & Fret Wraps, Guitar Pickups, and opened Instrument Care products.
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
- Contact our support team within 15 days of receiving your order at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
- We’ll email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions
- Securely package the item(s) using the original packaging
- Include the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package
- Ship the package to our address (return shipping is at customer’s expense unless the return is due to our error)
Return Shipping Options
We recommend using a trackable shipping service:
- International Returns: Use DHL or FedEx for fastest processing
- Domestic Returns: USPS Priority Mail is often most economical
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days
- Your refund will be issued to the original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
- You’ll receive an email confirmation when your refund has been issued
Exchange Process
For exchanges (size, color, or model changes):
- Follow the same return process above
- In your initial email, clearly state the item you wish to exchange for
- We’ll process your exchange once we receive the original item
- You’ll be responsible for any price difference and additional shipping costs
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- Contact us immediately at [email protected]
- Include photos of the damage or defect
- We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and cover all associated shipping costs
