The Rock Slide | Balltip – Aged Brass Slides

These slides are designed to have the sound of a standard brass Rock Slide but with an awesome vibe-heavy look.  Each one is hand-aged with a unique result.  The ageing does not involve sanding, dinging or scuffing; this results in the playing surface being completely smooth with no unwanted scratchiness to the sound or feel.

The Balltip slides still feature everything great about the original Rock Slides.  That’s to say they are cutaway, tapered on the inside and extremely comfortable.  However, the ball nose means this slide can also be used on instruments such as Dobro or lap steel.  It also gives two playing surfaces, resulting in a longer and shorter slide option. Finally, the Balltip adds even more weight for fantastic long sustain and the ability to play on the tip of the slide.
