Ibanez Acoustic Basses | AEGB24E – Mahogany Sunburst High Gloss

The AEGB24E features a thin body with a soft Florentine cutaway. The top is laminated sapele with herringbone purfling and black binding on sapele back and sides. The round soundhole has an acrylic rosette and and a wooden thumb rest. It has a nyatoh and maple neck with a 32″ scale and a 21-fret walnut fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a walnut bridge with black plastic bridge pins, a plastic nut, and black Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.

Electronics consist of an Ibanez under saddle pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and a ¼” stereo output.

The AEQ-2T preamp is specifically-designed to adjust the bass and treble frequencies and allows operation of the built-in tuner without the instrument being plugged in.
